His notable career has placed him among a small vanguard of players able to move between jazz, experimental music and cutting edge pop and rock. He is the drummer on stage in the 8 TONY award winning Broadway musical Hadestown and leads the Ben Perowsky Trio, Moodswing Orchestra and Upstream Trio with Chris Speed and John Medeski.
