ABOUT
MandraSaptak was founded by Sanchari, in 2013, for promoting first generation musicians, especially those who would come to the USA for tours. This forum is fully dedicated to building a sincere listenership in the field of North Indian Raaga Music. Having hosted about three consecutive concerts in New York City, the forum is now seeking opportunities of hosting and curating soulful vocal and instrumental concerts. Artists must have received permission from their respective Gurus and fulfilled the criteria of presenting quality music to a revered audience. Artists must be paid a respectable remuneration through donations or sponsorship by the musical fraternity. Sanchari had started this forum as an avid listener and ardent supporter of young musicians.However, as time flew, she herself started taking talim in Khyal and Thumri under the tutelage of Guru Sri Anjan Majumdar. MandraSaptak seeks your cooperation and affection for the sustenance of high quality music through concerts, seminars and analytical discussions. Thank you.
