Show Description:

Get ready for your favorite unconventional fairytale like you’ve never seen before: part cabaret, part proof of concept, and 100% guaranteed to be a ki, OGRE reimagines the story of Shrek as an epic t4t love story. Combining music from the original film franchise, the Tony-award winning musical, and classic LGBTQ+ anthems, follow along with brooklyn director niqo torrez- featuring your favorite up-and-coming queer artists- as they use the power of dramaturgy to draw parallels between the cult classic and their own experiences of transitioning in modern America. A night of radical queer joy and resistance, OGRE will leave you feeling empowered to write your own narrative.
