Join us for Al-Bait Baitkom’s first open mic of the summer! You’re in for another exciting night of Sudanese comedy, music, poetry and everything in between.

This is a fun and interactive open mic show, where you will see some local undiscovered talents and known artists making special appearances.

With special feature Mohamed Araki a Sudanese touring musician, keyboardist, and producer, and Sudan’s first Grammy-nominated artist through his work with Bombino, he has performed with Yo-Yo Ma and recorded with Cheb Khaled and Vinnie Colaiuta. His music blends Sudanese traditions with synth textures, improvisation, and Afro-diasporic rhythms.

Hosted by the very funny Huta, a stand up comedian who preforms all over the US, opening for Dave Attell, Russel Peters, Chris Redd and many more.
