ABOUT
Sanchari Roy is a specialist in Classical dance (Bharatanatyam), performer, teacher and member of West Bengal Dance Group Federation, West Bengal, India. She has started her journey under the guidance of Smt. Sudeshna Banerjee, then after completed her 3rd year examination on Bharatanatyam from PRACHIN KALA KENDRA Chandigarh , she has started her talim under the supervision of Dr. Vandana Alase Hazra. Presently she is a disciple of Smt. Jalsa Chandra, an eminent Bharatanatyam and Kathak dancer from Kolkata.She is also learning Carnatic Tala from Guru Shree Ranganathan Shrinivasan and also learnt Marga Natya from Subhendu Ghosh disciple of Scholar Shri Piyal Bhattacharya. Sanchari passed Bhaskar part-1(6th year) exam on Bharatnatyam from Prachin Kala Kendra, Chandigarh in the year- 2019. She has completed her MA in Dance with the specialization on Bharatanatyam from Rabindra Bharati University year-2021.
