The Clearing in the forest continues…

Find your way to a quiet corner of the Catskills this Spring, where the pace slows, the noise falls away, and music carries the experience.

Over three days, The Clearing unfolds through sound, movement, and shared time. Live music moves through the space from morning into night—alongside performances, open jams, guided workshops, and moments to simply sit, listen, and take it in.

Days stretch between walks in nature, time by the pond, sauna sessions, bonfires, and long meals under the night sky. There is space for stillness, and space for release.

This is a space built on presence, community, and cultural exchange—where people come together not just to attend, but to be part of what’s happening.

All meals, beverages, workshops, sauna sessions, and performances are included.

The Clearing is hosted by Barzakh Café and Salon on Kingston.

Accommodations:

Cabin Stay (Bed Included)

Stay in the house with a shared room This option includes indoor accommodation for both nights, with sleeping arrangements across the farmhouse, barn, or church. You’ll have a bed provided, along with full access to the retreat

Tent Stay (Bring Your Own Tent)

A lower-cost option for those comfortable camping. Bring your own tent and set up on the property.

*Both options includes full access to the retreat — meals, beverages, workshops, and all programming.

- 10pm — Open jam by the fire (outdoor)

Saturday:
- 9am — Yoga with Natalie

- 10am — Walk in the forest

- 1pm — Lunch

- 2pm — Music & movement workshop with Sonia

- 4pm — Movement session

- 6pm — Mireia (solo violin at sunset / church)

- 7pm — Dinner

- 8pm — Live show: The Mandingo Ambassadors

Sunday:
- 9am — Yoga with Natalie

- 10am — Acoustic set: Sonia

- 11am — Jam by the pond

- 1pm — Lunch

- 6pm — Live show: Richard & Mireia

- Dinner

*Sauna open everyday from 10am til 10pm

Curated desi dishes by Sanya & Omar, Pak tea house all the 3 days of the retreat 💚

Breakfast is served Saturday and Sunday at 9AM.
Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available.

Transport:

Carpooling is possible — some participants and volunteers will be driving. If you’d like to join a ride, let us know after booking your ticket. Expect to contribute $15–20 to help cover gas and related costs.

To support your arrival, we can help arrange a shuttle from Monticello on Friday to the retreat site in Long Eddy, with a return on Sunday.

Coach USA Bus runs regularly from Port Authority to Monticello.
