ABOUT
Join me as I explore the musical depths of the RAV Vast, a series of beautiful and unique handpans forged in the permafrost belly of Perm, Russia. I enjoy complex and challenging songs featuring frequent tempo and time changes, polyrhythms, avoidance of 4/4, avoidance of downbeats, and multiple melodic layers... with just a sprinkle of silliness. I have a progressive drumming background and am influenced by a blend of progressive rock (Tool/Rush/Pineapple Thief/Dream Theater), modern symphony (Andreas Waldetoft/Jeremy Soule/Disasterpiece), and ambient techno (Sundial Aeon and many, many more).
