The Saami Brothers Return to New York (8:15 PM - 10:30 PM)

Step into an unforgettable night of music, history, and spiritual resonance as the Saami Brothers, living custodians of the Delhi Qawwal Bacha Gharana, bring their centuries‑old tradition of classical qawwali and khayal to Brooklyn.

Tracing their lineage directly to the legendary 14th‑century poet, musician, and mystic Hazrat Amir Khusrau, the Saami family are descendants of his disciple Samat bin Ibrahim. For over 700 years, they have carried forward the discipline, poetry, and ecstatic power of qawwali in its purest form—an art that unites musical mastery with devotional depth.

This performance offers a rare opportunity to experience the living history of South Asia’s Sufi musical heritage in an intimate and storied setting.
