ABOUT
Maya Martinez, from Colombia and Brooklyn, NY based, is a music therapist who has dedicated her entire life to various studies of music and social services. In recent year Maya released a critically acclaimed album as former co-founder of Pacha Massive under Nacional Records, she completed the upright bass classical music performance program in La Escuela Nacional, La Habana, Cuba, the Jazz certificate program at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, music production at The Dub Spot NYC, Music Therapy Program at Montclair University, Sound engineering at The Army School of Music and, became a Kambó facilitator with UKA ( Universal Kambó Alliance). She is currently a sound engineer for the 78th Army Band in NYC and is furthering her studies in sound therapy, ceremonial music & circles, and plant/animal medicines. mayamartinezgo@gmail.com
