ABOUT
Meher started his musical journey at a very tender age of eight in Indian Classical Music under the tutelage of Guru Pt. Padmakar Thatte. In 2011, Meher started receiving his Taleem under the tutelage of Padmabhushan Pt. Ajoy Chakrabarty at SHRUTINANDAN Gurukul. In 2014, he received Scholarship in ITC SANGEET RESEARCH ACADEMY, Kolkata where he continues his training. Recently he is a Senior Scholar in ITC Sangeet Research Academy. *Achievements and Performances :* • Participated in the prestigious Idea *SA RE GA MA PA Marathi* in 2009, where he qualified until the final round. • Received the National Scholarship given by the Government of India for the year 2017-2018. • Has been the recipient of Maharashtra Gaurav Award • Received the National Harmony Award • Yuva Kalakar Puraskar by Deshastha Bramhan Sangha Pune. • Symboises SA RE GA MA Award, Pune. • Awarded as the Best Voice for Sangeet Natak by Rangasangeet. • Performed at the Bhavitvya program in Pune organized by Sa Va Ni & NCPA. • Performed at the Lonavala-Khanadala Sangeet Sammelan. • Performed at Swarmangesh Music Festival, Goa • Performed at Malhar Festival organized by ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata. • Has also extensively, given vocal support with his guru at various places like the Ahmedabad-Saptak, Mumbai, Banares, agartala, Darjeeling, Guwahati, Dubai etc. • Apart from this, he has performed in many Light Music programs of Thumri, Bhavgeet, Bhaktigeet, Natyasangeet , etc.
