ABOUT
The Park Theater was founded in 1921 as a silent movie theater, seating nearly 500 people in what was believed to be fully fire proof building given the steel, tile and concrete construction. It closed as a theater in the 1940's and re-opened on its centennial celebration in 2021. In its present rendition, Park Theater Hudson exists to foster community through music and art. It was born out of aspirations to influence the community and provide a space to nurture Hudson's culture leveraging the area’s creative artists and musicians to support that mission. The aura and energy of the Park Theater can be felt upon entry and it's truly incredible to witness a performance whether it be live music, spoken word or one of the plays that are produced in this intimate space.
