Rootstock Arts https://www.rootstockarts.com is dedicated to fostering the development of artist collaboration, artist communities and cultures. We bring together diverse group of performers, presenters and appreciators of music and other performing arts, with a focus on sustainability and artist-centered values. We pursue an artist-forward mission as a CA 501c3 Arts organization by gathering, presenting work and supporting solutions for Artists. Our events and gatherings strive to provide a safe space for professional development, new artist creations, concept development and public presentation. Many of our events are held in partnership with other artist led spaces, like WyldFlowr Arts and Medicine for Nightmares. We also hosts events at our HQ and Artist Community Center in North Oakland.
