Training in Music: Aniket received his first lessons on vocal at the age of 6 from his mother and started learning Sarode at the age of 11 from Pt. Alok Lahiri. At the age of 14, he played on Doordarshan for the first time. His further training was undertaken by Dr. Pandit Ranajit Sengupta, who continues to instruct him to the present day. Moreover, Aniket Chakravarty attended several workshops of the legendary maestros, Late Pt. V. Balsara, Ustad Aashis Khan, and Late Pt. Buddhadev Dasgupta. Performance Profile: He has given numerous solo concerts as well as duet & Orchestration all over the India and abroad on various prestigious platforms, some are like: • Performed at Golestan Palace, Milad Tower in Tehran, IRAN organized by Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India with collaboration of ICCR. • Performed in Abu Dhabi, Dubai organized by Indian Embassy, Govt. of India. • Pratibha Utsav at EZCC in Kolkata organized by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. • National program at EZCC in Kolkata organized by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. • Annual Classical concert, 2017 organized by Vistar, The Institute of Indian Classical Music in Kolkata. • Program on UTKAL University in Orissa organized by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. • Young Musicians Conference on Kolkata (SISIR Mancha auditorium) organized by cultural wings of West Bengal State Govt. • Young Musicians Conference on GORKY SADAN organized by cultural wings of West Bengal State Govt. • Concert on Music Festival in Durgapur organized by cultural wings of West Bengal State Govt. • Performed on annual convocation of Sarbabharatiyo Sangeet- O- Sanskriti Parishad at Sisir Mancha, Kolkata. • Concert on Book Fair, organized by Sutanuti Parishad, Shovabazar, In collaboration with Govt. of West Bengal. • Tagore festival in RABINDRA–OKAKURA auditorium in Kolkata organized by MONOMANJARI institution of performing arts, in collaboration with Govt. of West Bengal • Performed on the Sacred occasion of Shrimad-Bhagabad Gita Jayanti utsav at Kolkata.
